A dragon, believed to be impossible to tame, descends at the call of a young girl. In the year 1917 of the Holy Era, the world is engulfed in an endless war over Chronolis, an ore said to hold the power of immortality. To gain the upper hand, humanity revives dragons, ancient rulers of the world, as weapons of war. Those who ride them, known as Dragon Knights, are admired as heroes. Iris, a girl living with her adoptive father in a small village, dreams of becoming a Dragon Knight. However, her adoptive father Arnold, a former Dragon Knight, dismisses her dream, warning her not to take war lightly. One day, Iris jokingly calls out to a dragon flying overhead. To her surprise, it lands before her and bows its head. The Imperial Army captain Leon, riding on its back, looks at her in astonishment and asks, “Would you like to become a Dragon Knight?” This encounter will change Iris’s destiny. Thus begins the heroic tale of a girl loved by dragons, who becomes a peerless Dragon Knight and is eventually known as the Goddess of War!
